Fabricator: Costume Workshops of Bundestheater, Vienna (responsible: Susanne Schmögner)
Commissioned by André Heller.
Lichtenstein originally designed the headdress for Jessye Norman for her intended role in a never realized Heller TV production of Aida. The dress design was sketched later, for Heller's play Sein und Schein in which Maria Bill was wearing the full costume in her role as an Egyptian girl. Sein und Schein premiered at the Burgtheater in Vienna on January 19, 1993.
